Boomers Parks’ Sahara Sam’s Water Park is officially opening as Big Kahuna’s Water Park on Thursday, March 31, 2022, in West Berlin, NJ.

Sahara Sam’s Indoor and Outdoor Water Park, rated the No. 1 indoor water park in the US by The Travel in 2021, has been transformed into the island-themed Big Kahuna’s to create a year-round getaway for water lovers.

Big Kahuna’s New Jersey will be the second location alongside Big Kahuna’s in Destin, Fla., that embodies a tropical atmosphere. The park has been renovated with vibrant colors and is introducing a new Caribbean menu with specialty drink options. Embracing the Caribbean theme, the park is hosting performances with fire dancers, steel drums, hula dancers, and more throughout the year.

The indoor and outdoor water park is known for its state-of-the-art retractable roof, which allows it to provide year-round weatherproof fun. Big Kahuna’s offers indoor and outdoor water attractions as well as an arcade featuring an array of interactive games.

The rebrand is part of the vision of CEO, Tim Murphy, who is revamping all of Boomers Parks to pave the way for the future of family entertainment. “Big Kahuna’s is one element of elevating the guest experience and providing guests with an affordable opportunity to take a vacation from reality and head to our island time,” said Murphy.
