NHU and its subsidiaries are getting off to a good start in the new year with some good news. <\/p>\n
On December 28th<\/sup>, commissioned by Zhejiang High-tech Enterprise Association, Zhejiang Institute of Science and Technology Information released the Top 100 Innovative High-tech Enterprises and the Top 10 Industrial Players in Zhejiang Province in 2021 after comprehensive consideration of multiple indicators. By virtue of outstanding capacity in independent innovation, NHU and Shangyu NHU Biochemical were ranked 12th<\/sup> and 95th<\/sup> respectively in the Top 100 Innovative High-tech Enterprises and were both among the Top 10 Players in the Biological and New Pharmaceutical Industry. Meanwhile, NHU was listed in the Top 100 High Social Responsibility Private Enterprises in Zhejiang, which was launched for the first time by Zhejiang Federation of Industry and Commerce. <\/p>\n The evaluation of the innovation ability of high-tech enterprises was carried out by Zhejiang Institute of Science and Technology Information commissioned by Zhejiang High-tech Enterprise Association, and the top 100 enterprises were selected through a comprehensive evaluation of multiple indicators. Those top 100 enterprises achieved a total revenue of ¥690.40 billion in 2020, accounting for 15.9% of that of all high-tech enterprises in the province; a total profit and tax of ¥289.45 billion, 40.9% of the that of all; and a total R&D expenditure of ¥54.66 billion, 23.0% of the that of all. <\/p>\n As an innovative enterprise, NHU has always insisted on innovation-driven development. Going forward, NHU will continue to improve its technological innovation capability and strive to become a world-leading functional chemical company.<\/p>\n Just recently, Heilongjiang NHU Biotechnology Co., Ltd. received the High and New Technology Enterprise Certificate jointly issued by the Heilongjiang Provincial Science and Technology Department, the Heilongjiang Provincial Finance Department, and Heilongjiang Provincial Tax Service of State Taxation Administration with the approval of the Administrative Office for the Recognition of High and New Technology Enterprises. After 6 companies (including Shangyu NHU Biotechnology and Shandong NHU Biotechnology) in the Group being awarded this title, the new certificate marks another national recognition of NHU’s innovation spirit. <\/p>\n As one of the first national key high-tech enterprises, NHU has adhered to innovation-driven development since its establishment. Turning basic chemical raw materials into high added-value functional chemicals, NHU has set up an integrated innovation and R&D system that covers basic research, engineer-based development, process optimization and product application development. We have expanded our R&D center footprint in Zhejiang, Shandong, Heilongjiang, Denmark, and some other regions. With leading technological innovation capacity in the industry, we have been granted 418 domestic patents and 82 international patents, obtained 1 Gold Award of the National Patent Award, 2 Second Prizes of the State<\/a> Technological<\/a> Invention<\/a> Award<\/a>, and 1 Special Prize for Technological Invention of the Science and Technology Award of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.
