Closely adapted from Nelly’s own book “10 Days in a Madhouse,”<\/em> the story is her experience of the 10 grueling and horrifying days in the institution under deplorable conditions – but she never regretted it, because her expose for Joseph Pulitzer’s New York World Newspaper would rattle the nation to its core.  10 DAYS IN A MADHOUSE<\/strong> is written and directed by Timothy Hines (War of the Worlds; The True Story<\/em>), and stars newcomer Caroline Barry as Nellie Bly, who brings Bly’s heroism and courage to life on screen.  The film also stars Christopher Lambert (Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan; Highlander<\/em>) and Kelly Le Brock (Weird Science, The Woman in Red<\/em>). <\/p>\n
