“Lockdown was difficult for everyone, and as event planners we had no choice but to shut down as obviously no one was having parties,” owner Chris Hinds explained. “We love what we do and we have really missed the buzz of helping making a big occasion go with a bang. I think that after lockdown everyone is really appreciating being able to meet up and enjoy celebrating together again.”<\/p>\n

Unsurprisingly, the isolation of lockdown has been bad for the nation’s mental health. According to the Mental Health Foundation’s research one in four adults in the UK said they had feelings of loneliness during lockdown, with loneliness levels higher in young people. One of the things that helped people was looking forward to when there would be “lots of hugs, shared pots of tea, parties and celebrations in the future”. Having the chance to get together and enjoy the company of friends and family is something that we all have a newfound appreciation for. <\/p>\n
