Adult movie star Stoya has completed shooting her debut mainstream feature film “Ederlezi Rising\u201d.<\/div>\n

“Ederlezi Rising” is an extraordinary project which combines SCIENCE FICTION, ADULT FILM STAR and SOVIET AESTHETICS.<\/p>\n

In this Sci-fi melodrama directed by the controversial visual artist Lazar Bodrozha <\/a>and written by one of the major Serbian screenwriters Dimitrije Vojnov<\/a>, she is starring with Slovenian \/Italian superstar actor Sebastian Cavazza. Featuring gorgeous retro-futurist production design that clearly nods to the likes of Tarkovsky and other Soviet era science fiction films and featuring adult film star Stoya in her first non-porn role, Lazar Bodrozha’s upcoming Ederlezi Rising is going to bring fresh artistic approach to science fiction genre.<\/p>\n

Now, the creator of this sci-fi film, which has already been shot, has launched an IndieGoGo campaign to raise funds for the post-production costs as well as the expenses associated with distribution.<\/p>\n

The producer hopes to finish the film as soon as possible in order to premiere it in Toronto at Midnight Madness in September.  There are also plans to raise more money to film a sequel to the movie.  The story of Ederlezi could continue if enough funds are raised by fans who want to see the rest of the story.<\/p>\n
