Musical theatre actor and singer-songwriter Adam Dickinson is set to release his latest single: ‘<\/span>No Tears No Fears<\/span><\/a>’<\/span>. The original song, with accompanying music video, will be released on Friday 23<\/span>rd<\/span><\/span> July.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hailing from Wigan in North-West England, the 26-year-old has been performing as Paul Simon in <\/span>The Simon & Garfunkel Story<\/span><\/a>: a critically acclaimed theatre production showcasing the duo’s illustrious careers and enduring songbook. After the international tour was called off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Adam poured his heart into writing and recording five original songs.<\/span><\/p>\n

“<\/span>I have always dreamed of writing and recording my own music,” Adam said. “Despite the disappointment of the tour being halted indefinitely, I saw an opportunity to fulfill this life-long dream. I poured my heart and soul into five original songs and I am delighted with the response I have received so far.” <\/span><\/p>\n

Adam was supported by an amazing band of musicians playing on this song and a very special family team to put together <\/span>this video<\/span><\/a>, filmed at the beautiful Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa in Chester. He especially credits his brother, Ryan of <\/span>Palmhouse Media<\/span><\/a>, with special thanks also to his girlfriend, Charlotte, who also appears in the music video.<\/span><\/p>\n

‘No Tears No Fears’ is Adam’s second single and follows on from his self-published debut, <\/span>‘Last One Left’<\/span><\/a>, which was released earlier this year. <\/span><\/p>\n

Adam was born and raised in Wigan. At a young age, he discovered that he had a deep passion and love for singing and playing instruments. In 2017, Adam graduated with a Master’s degree from the prestigious Guildford School of Acting. He landed the role of Paul Simon in <\/span>The Simon & Garfunkel Story<\/span>: a concert-style theatre show about two young boys from Queens, New York who went on to become the world’s most successful music duo of all time.<\/span><\/p>\n

This was the job that made him fall head over heels in love with their music, and folk music more generally. Today these, combined with his pre-existing pop and country influences, have become the essence of the music he writes.<\/span><\/p>\n
