Natalie Christopher, owner of <\/span>Hair by Natalie Michelle<\/span><\/span><\/a> <\/span>sets a record for herself and black owned businesses<\/span> in Houston<\/span>. <\/span>Natalie, who before the pandemic<\/span>,<\/span> <\/span>was only <\/span>providing <\/span>hair<\/span> services<\/span> had the chance to analyse her business during the pandemic and came up with a whole new idea for her hair business. She stepped up her business from just offering hair styling services to having a product line of hair care and beauty products. <\/span>Products which are <\/span>presently selling in Walmart. <\/span>Also, Natalie currently <\/span>offer<\/span>s<\/span> online<\/span> and <\/span>in person classes<\/span> <\/span>for stylists and potential stylists<\/span>, teaching others how to start<\/span> and <\/span>scale their business<\/span>es. <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The Houston stylist has <\/span>been in the beauty industry for over 15 years. She started <\/span>doing<\/span> hair in middle school. Growing<\/span> up<\/span>, her passion for the beauty business also grew and she started beauty school at Trinity Valley Community College. She was at Trinity Valley Community college for a year<\/span> before she left for Franklin Beauty School.<\/span> In the year 2011, she graduated from the Franklin Beauty School where she received her license<\/span> and chose to specialize in hair extensions and natural hair<\/span>. <\/span>In her words, <\/span><\/span>“<\/span>Even though we love our hair extensions, we still have to care for our own natural hair, it’s also what’s underneath that counts!”<\/span> <\/span>Recently, <\/span><\/span>s<\/span>he <\/span>launched<\/span> her mobile app, <\/span><\/span>Hair by Natalie Michelle<\/span><\/span><\/a>, on which clients can book her services<\/span> and also purchase online courses. <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

She believes<\/span> that people have <\/span>to build and learn during the growing process <\/span>because that is what <\/span>make<\/span>s<\/span> business<\/span>es<\/span> stand out<\/span>.
