Talented UK-born Nigerian singer, Vera Tunes, set to drop a new romantic single titled Famimora

Vera Tunes is looking to continue in her pursuit of challenging the status quo in the music industry as she drops Famirora to celebrate lovers. The talented singer aims to light the body of her fans and millions of music lovers across the globe, with the new romantic single, which will be officially released this Valentine. Vera literally shook the music world in January 2021, following the release of her song “Kom Kom,” which is still basking, entering, and climbing top music charts and digital playlists.

The music industry might be set for a seemingly televised revolution as the passionate singer and multifaceted entertainer is making her presence felt in the highly competitive multi-billion-dollar market. The Afrobeats artiste made the headlines as a runner up in season 4 of Nigerian Idol in 2014 and went on to drop her debut single titled “Oh Nah Nah.” She has not looked back ever since, dropping hits after hits and she looks to continue in that tradition with her upcoming release Famimora.

“Famimora,” which means “Pull me closer,” further substantiates the artist’s creativity and ingenuity as a singer and songwriter, depicting her love for R’n’B music and background. She infused slow jam with afrobeat to chronicle the sweet, sensual, and romantic story of two longtime friends and how the girl tries to express her feelings and interest in dating her male friend who seems uninterested in taking their friendship beyond platonic.

“I wanted to share something different as I like to think outside of the box, and create something most people deal with but maybe too afraid to express she to society pressure of what is acceptable and not in love,” Vera Tunes said. “I hope this story/love song will speak to someone who is too afraid to express their feelings to a man because it is deemed not for a lady to first approach a man.”

Famirora delves into the friend-zoning idea, with the scripts flipped as the female expresses her desire to be more than just a friend with her male companion. The single might just be that inspiration needed for a listener to take the bold step.

Vera currently has a good number of songs that have endeared her to music lovers in the UK and other parts of the world. Her popular tracks include Salomi, Ja Lo, and a cover of Davido’s “Gobe.”

Famirora and other works from Vera can be found across several social and digital platforms, including Spotify, Instagram, and Twitter and on her website at www.veratunes.com.
