WESTMINSTER, Colo. – December 24, 2020 – Author Castle Cage penned a fascinating book that is a timely read in today’s uncertain world. His book, “Dead October,” exposes the unfamiliar places laced with a virulent virus.

Cage writes how a person’s world could crumble in an instant with only one’s self to rely on. This novel is a reflection of the present day, with the virus making the waking world into a dreamscape.

“Dead October” is a story of harsh realities, he writes: “A rapidly spreading and completely unknown virus has taken over and survival is not an option. You watch everyone that you love violently succumb to the disease. Death and destruction are imminent; life nothing but a false hope. Nothingness.”

“Dead October” is far from a light read with 2020’s current backdraft of the Coronavirus because it packs a punch. This book will remind readers that every moment counts.

Cage’s clear, direct prose will grab hold of you, snap your head around, and challenge you to stare your mortality in the face. It traverses the snapshots of life’s triumphs and trials, exposing the resilience of mankind and the finding meaning of being alive.
