Step 1:<\/strong> Find the snake belt tensioner. If you have difficulty finding a tensioner, please consult the belt layout drawing. It can usually be found on decals placed somewhere in the engine compartment or in the vehicle maintenance manual.<\/p>\n Step 2:<\/strong> Rotate the tensioner. Use a socket or wrench to slide the automatic tensioner off the belt. Whether this is clockwise or counterclockwise depends on the route of the vehicle and belt. Use a small screwdriver or a pick to remove the O-ring from the air conditioning pressure line. Some compressors will come with replaceable O-rings, or you can get replacements from your local auto parts store. Slide the new O-ring into place.<\/p>\n Step 10:<\/strong> Put the new compressor in the vehicle. Place the new compressor in the vehicle and align it with the mounting holes.<\/p>\n Step 11:<\/strong> Reinstall the mounting bolts. Reinstall and tighten the fixing bolts.<\/p>\n Step 12:<\/strong> Reinstall the wiring. Reinstall the pipeline and tighten the pipeline bolts.<\/p>\n Step 13:<\/strong> Reinstall the electrical connector. Reinstall the original electrical connector.<\/p>\n Step 14:<\/strong> Place the belt on the pulley. Place the belt on the pulley according to the belt routing diagram to ensure that the belt is routed correctly.<\/p>\n Step 15:<\/strong> Install the new belt. Push or pull the tensioner to a position that allows the belt to be installed on the pulley. After the belt is in place, you can loosen the tensioner and remove the tool.<\/p>\n Step 16:<\/strong> Ask professionals to recharge the system.
