Specifically, Hangzhou&#8217;s exports amounted to 267.14 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.5 percent. The city&#8217;s imports totaled 167.75 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18.1 percent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In September, Hangzhou&#8217;s foreign trade volume was 57.53 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18.6 percent. Specifically, exports totaled 32.36 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.7 percent, while imports amounted to 25.17 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 36.5 percent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the third quarter of the year, Hangzhou&#8217;s exports totaled 102.15 billion yuan, the first time that the city&#8217;s exports have exceeded 100 billion yuan in a quarter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Statistics revealed that Hangzhou saw a rapid increase in the export of high-tech products for the first three quarters of the year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many people chose to stay at home.
