October 26, 2020 – <\/strong>Talented filmmaker, Alexander Wilkins becomes one of a few filmmakers with multiple titles in this year’s Peachtree Village International Film Festival (PVIFF) with his short films “Pool Boy” and “Instructor.”  Both short films will be featured in this years’ PVIFF via On-Demand on <\/span>www.pviffatl.com<\/a> Oct. 29-Nov.1<\/span>st<\/sup>.  <\/span><\/p>\n

The multi-billion-dollar movie industry has grown over the years, thanks to the contributions of different stakeholders, including film producers, directors, writers, and actors.   Many filmmakers begin in the industry by producing short films and many later become feature films or television pilots.  <\/p>\n

Pool Boy <\/em>is about a lifeguard pines for a more exciting job while working a swim meet.   <\/strong><\/p>\n

Instructor <\/em>is a short film that covers the aftermath of an embarrassing incident, a martial arts instructor must discover whether he still has faith in his own teachings.<\/p>\n

Writer\/Director, Alexander Wilkins is an independent writer\/director that has been working in video production for the last eight years around Atlanta. As a recent graduate from Georgia Tech, Alexander focuses on crafting stories that can both be created independently and immerse audiences in a world with more questions than answers. His ultimate goal is to create films that get better with subsequent viewings, propose resolutions that stir debates, and contain layers akin to novels.<\/p>\n
