“Into Light” releases later this year <\/div>\n

A new trailer has been released for “Into Light”, a film about voting rights activist Inez Milholland. Amy Walker, who wrote the short film, has the lead role.<\/p>\n

Milholland will stop at nothing to take the stage and rally support for women’s right to vote… Until a Doctor reveals something she never saw coming.  <\/em><\/p>\n

Kali Pictures and Soulfire Creations crafted the film, a powerful window into the Women’s Suffrage Movement, has been released to coincide with the Centennial of women’s Suffrage in the US. <\/p>\n

In the clutches of terminal illness, suffragist Inez Milholland steels herself for the final speech of her tour  rallying the nation to give women the right to vote. Though President Wilson and most of the voting men see the cause as a threat, still she persists. At the pinnacle of her speech, she galvanizes the throngs with an uplifting message, but suddenly collapses before she is able to finish. The doctor insists she rest, but nothing will stop the changing tide of equality. <\/p>\n
