The show handled by Emily Morenz dives into different topics from the ‘60s and ‘70s, with fun stories been featured in each topic.<\/p>\n

26-year-old Emily is a huge ‘60s and ‘70s enthusiast especially when it comes to rock ‘n’ roll. Despite her relatively young age, Emily’s knowledge of classic rock and bands is second to none. “The Rock & Roll Sweetheart’ sees Emily talk about her favorite songs, bands, and albums from the ‘60s and ‘70s. Emily also sits down with musicians in the genre for in-depth conversations on the rock.<\/p>\n

In the most recent episode of ‘The Rock & Roll Sweetheart’, the very first guest, Jackie Delgado (former speaker on 100.3 The Sound’s “Mark in the Morning”) sat with Emily to discuss the different sub-genres of soul music.  A fun guessing game incorporated at the end of each genre quickly followed.<\/p>\n

Emily also hosts a radio show called “Emo’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Magic Show” on 101.5 KOCI FM where she plays all rare songs from the ’60s\/’70s and discusses more history and interview legends like David Crosby and Micky Dolenz. Last year, she was brought up on stage by Paul McCartney for a dance to a couple of songs while she was wearing a walrus costume. Emily was voted “Best Local DJ 2019” on the publication OC Weekly.<\/p>\n

Through Emily’s collection of about 1,200 records, she is constantly discovering “new” old music to share with the world.
