Till now, contextual access control has a dependency on the deployment of a thin agent on each end user’s machine. CloudCodes today announced the availability of its new feature <\/span>certificate-based device binding<\/strong>. It allows IT to bind the end user’s laptop or desktop based on certificates generated by CloudCodes. Certifications will ensure only approved laptop desktop can be used for accessing enterprise cloud applications.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the solution, IT can generate a certificate specific to an end-user desktop\/laptop and deploy a certificate-based authentication on each device, allowing it to secure access to enterprise cloud applications. The certificate exchange between the client and the server helps in identifying the user accessing the device. There is a simple and powerful inbuilt approval workflow for the registration of employee’s methods for accessing the enterprise applications.  <\/span><\/p>\n
