A new virtual educational game tournament is offering high schoolers a chance to have fun while learning about Africa’s culture, history and geography during this period of confinement around the world. The game tournament, Edu-X Quiz, is designed and organized by Edu-X Services LLC.<\/p>\n

Edu-X Services LLC is a startup based in Atlanta, Georgia. They recruit international students from Africa and assist them with college admission in the USA and Canada. Students benefit from a mentoring program offered by Edu-X Team to facilitate their integration in the USA\/Canada, and to help them engage in extracurricular activities and ensure their academic success.<\/p>\n

The first round of Edu-X Quiz was held on April 18, 2020. Twenty-eight high schoolers out of hundred thirty-first applicants were selected to participate based on their performance. Edu-X’s partners – Lycée Kodonso, Groupe Scolaire La Lumière, Lycée Moctar Mamadou Ba – had five of their best students represent their schools. Many high achievers were also selected from the pool of applications, from France, Togo, Ivory Coast and Mali.<\/p>\n

Some of the strategic questions were designed by Dr. Boniface Diarra, a well known professor at the University of Montreal in Canada.<\/p>\n

After the first round some participants have left a note regarding how they benefit from Edu-X Quiz.<\/p>\n
