The COVID-19 crisis has impacted women globally in a radical way. With many left wondering how to respond and adjust to a coronavirus and post-coronavirus world, The Expat Woman is answering the call to help with the upcoming \u201cWomen Hack the Crisis\u201d virtual Hackathon. The first and largest all-women global, virtual hackathon focused exclusively on COVID-19 challenges.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The world has changed in a way quite unlike anything seen in lifetimes. This is more true for women with the rise in domestic violence cases, caring for children and elderly parents, homeschooling while working from home and more. The Expat Women, a dynamic social enterprise focused on educating and empowering women, has seen the urgent need to pool ideas and expertise in response to these challenges. In exciting news, The Expat Woman has announced they will be hosting “Women Hack the Crisis<\/a>”, their sixth Hackathon and first virtual Hackathon, from April 30th<\/sup> to May 7th,<\/sup> 2020.  No coding ability is required, and women across the globe are being invited to participate in the event. Sponsors are also welcome, along with media who would like to help spread the word.<\/p>\n

Women who participate will be working in teams on one of eight different challenges where they will be able to network and use their ability in skills to generate solutions that can help themselves, other women and the greater community.<\/p>\n
