Los Angeles, CA – December 2, 2019 – RackNerd, a United States based hosting provider has announced the launch of its Utah data center location, its newest facility for providing its bare-metal dedicated server offerings. The data center, located just North of Salt Lake City, boasts a high-performance BGP-optimized network consisting of: Zayo, Level 3, XO, GTT, TiNet, HE, Telia, CenturyLink, and Cogent.

Now operating in both the Los Angeles and Salt Lake City region, RackNerd has selected Utah to better accommodate the needs of bare metal clientele in this region. RackNerd’s expansion roadmap illustrates the strategic launching of additional regions by Q2 2020.

“With our Utah data center online, and expansion to new regions in the works, we are now in a position where we can provide true load-balancing and DRaaS (Disaster-Recovery-as-a-Service) solutions. This is an attestment to RackNerd’s commitment towards global expansion to better serve the needs of this worldwide, around-the-clock hosting industry,” explains Dustin B. Cisneros, CEO of RackNerd.

Utah’s Metropolitan area, renowned and often referred to as the “Silicon Slopes”, has evolved into one of America’s major tech hubs, with notable IT companies in the area including: Adobe, Facebook, Vivint, and more. With a large population of skilled college students graduating each year, the area is increasing in popularity without any shortage of tech talent. Driving technology advancements and innovation across the region, Utah’s Silicon Slopes is showing no signs of slowing, continuing to be recognized as an emerging force in the technology sector.

“Utah’s strong Internet backbone, diverse connectivity options, and amount of real estate space available made our decision to expand our IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) offerings here crystal clear. Customers of RackNerd can immediately benefit and deploy bare metal services in this location on-demand,” Cisneros added.
