Ijamsville, MD –<\/strong> In an attempt to make it easier for the Deaf Community, a recent event highlighted the importance of interpreters. The idea revolves around the notion that it would be a lot easier for institutions, such as interpreting agency, to allow deaf people to bring an interpreter along with them. This will not only help in understanding their needs, but also minimize the time incurred in exchanging notes.<\/p>\n

The idea is to bridge the gap and ensure inclusivity. Jessie Adner, who is working for Sorenson Community Interpreting Services, said in a statement, “We do notice that there tends to be a lack of interpreting needs being filled across the country. So we’ve had interpreters come to us and ask if there’s anything we can do about that and so I’m here to make sure that the interpreting needs are met.”<\/p>\n
