Born on June 22, 1981, in Athens, Harry has been designing limited edition garments for people around the world. He launched his first signature collection “Against women abuse” in 2009 that introduced him to the clothing industry. 10 years after in 2019, he has come up with his new brand Good Doer by Gianneli<\/a> that offers a wide range of clothes for men and women, as well as mobile covers, bags, wallets, and pants.<\/p>\n In this exclusive interview, Gianneli tells more about his brand and what inspired him to start it.<\/p>\n Interview: Tell us about your journey in the fashion industry so far?<\/strong><\/p>\n Harry Gianneli: My journey in the clothing industry started about 20 years ago when I used to do some kind of clothing brand scouting. So, I traveled mostly in Italy trying to discover new talented people and brands and suggest them to the stores brand cooperate with. This process helped me a lot to learn and discover more about clothing industry. In 2009 I decided to launch my first against women’s abuse t-shirts collection under Gianneli label which helped me introduce myself in clothing industry. At the same time, I used to design limited edition garments for people around the world until 2019 whenI decided to launch Good Doer by Gianneli, exclusively dedicated to bright side of life.<\/p>\n Interview: Tell us about your first collection “against women abuse”.<\/strong><\/p>\n Harry Gianneli: Hmm. Thank you for this question. Actually, I am emotionally connected with this first collection and it’s my pleasure to speak about it. As I remember, in that period I had watched a documentary about domestic violence and violence against women. So, I thought that it can be a nice idea to write down some things that I would like to say about violence against women and then add them on t-shirts. So, I called some friends of mine, photographers and models and ask them help me with this project. Finally, we created 1000 limited edition t-shirts which got sold out in some days, most of them in United States.<\/p>\n Interview: What is the idea behind Good Doer by Gianneli™?<\/strong><\/p>\n Harry Gianneli: The idea behind Good Doer by Gianneli™ is connected with my internal need to express myself about things that happening around me. We live in an era that every day we are bombarded with bad influences and news. These are everywhere around uson TV, newspapers, internet even on clothing. That was the main reason I decided to launch a clothing brand exclusively dedicated to bright side of life, trying to “throw some color” on “grey things” there are around us and offer to the audience something different.<\/p>\n Interview: How do you reflect this message of positivity in your designs?<\/strong><\/p>\n Harry Gianneli: I do this with a mix of powerful quotes and many colors on my designs. Even a simple word can open hearts and minds and make us see life in an alternative way.
