One of the largest broadband service provider in Punjab, Connect Broadband, is rolling out 50 more customer care centres in the next two months. <\/p>\n

Connect<\/a> has set up 100 such centres over a period of time in various key cities of Punjab, and intends to provide more robust customer support in other cities too with 50 to be set up within two months.<\/p>\n

Tricity shall have 10 more such centres from current mere four, informed Connect spokesperson.<\/p>\n

Nearly 60 per cent of the customers get their services from the local Connect office, and more centres would get them easy accessibility closeby whether it is paying their bills or recharging or finding out more about various other products and services offered by Connect. <\/a><\/p>\n

These Connect centres are being set up to service the clients, and especially give them access to converting their copper landlines to fibre optics.<\/a><\/p>\n

According to company officials, Connect has more than one lakh home passes on fibre optic connections<\/a> and intends to bring two lakh more home passes on fibre technology that would give them higher speed and bandwidth to enjoy internet browsing, videos and live castings.<\/p>\n

Setup on a franchise model, these centres would become nodal points for customer service and giving them access to the knowledge base which can help anyone benefit from technology.<\/p>\n

Two centres have been opened recently, one each at Ludhiana and Patiala in Punjab, India. <\/p>\n
