Jamul Primary School and Jamul Intermediate School, part of the Jamul-Dulzura Union School District, are proud to hold Literacy and Pi Nites at their schools for families to participate in. These fun events are a structured environment where students and their families can engage in math and literacy programs together, promoting family involvement in curricular areas. <\/span><\/p>\n

Oftentimes, parents or family members of modern students may not totally understand how their child is doing in school, especially in math, when techniques and practices have changed over the years. The Literacy and Pi Nite events held at the Jamul schools help parents gain a better understanding of what students are learning and the educational philosophies and techniques behind that curriculum, reinforcing what is taught in the classrooms. Parents also have an opportunity to ask teachers questions and see their child’s literacy and math skills in practice.
