The Poway Federation of Teachers (PFT) is excited about their endorsement of Kevin Juza for the Poway Unified School District School Board in Area B. With personal ties to PUSD, Kevin has already made positive changes within the District and is a strong advocate for students and teachers. He is working diligently to earn the vote of community members in Area B and is dedicated to making a difference. <\/span><\/p>\n

Poway Teachers support Kevin Juza because he will work to balance the budget while also ensuring an exceptional educational experience for each student. Kevin will also support fiscal responsibility within the District to free up funds for the maintenance of Poway Unified schools. By hearing out the community, working with the professionals within Poway Unified School District, and being an active problem solver, Kevin will lead the Board to making responsible decisions that benefit PUSD. Since becoming a Poway Unified School District Board Trustee in 2014, <\/span>T.J. has been passionate about protecting students, which includes their physical safety and emotional wellness. As current Board President, T.J. is working to help PUSD eliminate any structural deficit and cut down any long-term debt. Additionally, he believes PUSD must continue to recruit and retain the best-qualified teachers to ensure academic excellence for all students.

Michelle O’Connor-Ratcliff is deeply invested in the success of Poway Unified School District and is a champion for the well-being of ALL students. She believes in promoting a strong sense of community between Poway Unified schools, students, staff, administrators, parents, and neighborhoods.
