CLEVELAND, OH – September 7, 2018 –<\/strong> Heureka Software (www.heurekasoftware.com) today announced the newest release for the Heureka Platform. Cloud-based or on-premises clients will have the additional option of enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) for an extra layer of security. “Because Heureka provides unparalleled access to individual files including the ability to quarantine or delete them, it was important to our clients to add this extra security layer”, said Heureka’s Senior Product Manager Dave Ruel.<\/p>\n

Two-factor authentication requires a user to input a unique, six-digit code each time they log into the Heureka console. The six-digit code is automatically refreshed every 30 seconds and is generated using a mobile device. “Heureka’s clients demand high levels of security and Heureka is constantly looking at the best ways in which to strengthen the Heureka platform”, said COO Nate Latessa.<\/p>\n

Heureka’s single user interface is used to perform risk analysis, create searches and reports, and performs file actions including deletion, quarantine or collection of file information. It does all of this without moving or centralizing a single file. Automated, daily risk analysis is performed at the file level for complete, hands-off PII detection. “Heureka’s automatic PII detection has been proven to reduce our overall risk profile and provides Western Reserve Group the tools needed to clean up risk across all of our endpoints,” says Rich Ullom, Assistant V.P. of IT Security and Compliance at Western Reserve Group.<\/p>\n
