Jamul Primary School of the Jamul-Dulzura Union School District is proud to have an awardee of the California School Employees Association (CSEA) Unsung Hero Award. Nancy Grigsby, who works as a Special Day Class aide in Zo Powers’ class at Jamul Primary School, has a positive “can do” attitude that is infectious to all around her. This attitude and take on life is just what Ms. Powers needs in her class that has a wide range of students from kindergarten through 7th grade, all with varying needs which Nancy Grigsby is always willing to attend to.<\/p>\n
Besides being a classroom assistant extraordinaire for Ms. Powers, Nancy also substitutes in other classrooms across the district and is always willing to help and go the extra mile for other teachers and students. The CSEA Unsung Hero Award goes to someone who does something extraordinary for their district or school. In this case, Nancy is always willing to do what needs to be done to help others, even while giving of her own time.<\/p>\n
