Just weeks ago, the Sherman Brothers found headline in the Los Angeles Times<\/a> as ‘Walt Disney’s favorite composers’ with getting a star-filled film academy salute. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences’ paid tribute with sold-out event at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills in July 2018 called “The Sherman Brothers: A Hollywood Songbook”, which featured clips from their Disney films and archived performances by celebrated entertainers such as Dick Van Dyke (Mary Poppins<\/em>) and Haley Mills (The Parent Trap<\/em>).<\/p>\n
