Ferial Youakim has spent her career helping self-conscious men and women to love themselves, but like them, Ferial didn’t always see her own beauty.<\/p>\n

Ferial was born in a refugee camp in Lebanon. Inside the compound she said she was constantly ridiculed for her looks and made to feel wrong in her own skin.<\/p>\n

When she arrived in Australia in 1983, aged 18, she had low self-esteem and felt uncomfortable with the way she looked.<\/p>\n

Over the past 30 years, Ferial has dedicated her life to helping others feel good in their own skin. Founder and director of the highly-accredited, international image consultancy, ByFERIAL Image Consulting; creator of the innovative, and renowned, 4×4 colour system (also known as the 16 seasons); and the National Director of the Miss Australia International Beauty Pageant.<\/p>\n

Ferial is one of the few image consultants to have achieved the credential of CIP (certified image professional). She is currently the President-elect of AICI International, past President of AICI Florida Chapter, the Middle East Ambassador and the Arabic community Liaison and served on the international board as Vice President of membership development.<\/p>\n
