When her doctors send her for a MRI, they discover that a benign tumor is the cause of her terrifying visions. But, as her tumor grows stronger and her hallucinations and blackouts worsen, she quickly uncovers a terrifying truth – she sees what is “revealed to be a wild eyed doppleganger” (Speiser<\/em>) – her “vanishing twin”. Shedding light on the real-life medical condition commonly known as “Vanishing Twin Syndrome”, or when one twin is absorbed into the other while in utero, was caused by her own prostitute-mother’s gruesome abortion attempt with a pair of scissors.<\/p>\n
