The screenplay of ‘A MIAMI LOVE STORY’ was written by Haitian Actor \/ Composer \/ Soundtrack artist, Wyclef Jean<\/em>. Noted as an extremely talented artist, Jean<\/em> has received several Grammy Awards, and has reached eight nominations, including those received at the Golden Globes Awards. Jean<\/em> is world-known for soundtracks on ‘Hotel Rwanda’ (2004), ‘The Manchurian Candidate’ (2004), and James Bond<\/em> film, ‘Quantum of Solace’ (2008).<\/p>\n

The film’s soundtrack features Miami-born artists, including American rapper, singer, actor and record producer, Armando “Pitbull” Perez<\/em>, (a.k.a. “Mr. 305”or “Mr. Worldwide” in reference to world tours and Miami area code), who has remained loyal and proud of his roots, while conquering the American Dream.<\/p>\n

Pitbull<\/em> has set up a charter school in Miami for grades 6 to 12, called SLAM!, which engages children with little interest in education.
