BOCA RATON, FL – January 30, 2018 –<\/strong> New numbers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reveal what so many have suspected: This is the worst flu season in nearly a decade. Evan Goldstein M.D., Medical Director at Boca Regional Urgent Care reported that CDC data indicate “the flu is still spreading wildly, from 27 states reporting high activity last week to 32 this week,” and that “more than eight percent of all deaths in this country are from the flu and pneumonia, the highest we’ve seen this winter.”<\/p>\n
