FLY<\/a> is a painting technique that transforms lives. The artist Ted Barr<\/a> developed the technique as part of his own personal quest for meaning, which has taken him around the globe, brought him into contact with shamans, rabbis and monks and set him on the path towards becoming an internationally acclaimed artist.<\/p>\n

Barr’s best-known series of paintings have been created using the FLY painting technique: the Deep Space<\/a> series, the Cycle of Life<\/a> series and the Human Forming<\/a> series. The technique consists of mixing layers of cold tar with oil colors, acrylic, and lacquer. As the elements are moved around the canvas repelling each other, they create fabulous patterns on the canvas.<\/p>\n
