In order to honor the musical richness of the Moroccan heritage, the International Festival of Ibn Battuta is inviting to its second edition, to be held from 9 to 12 November 2017, the musical group “Filles et Fils du Ziriab” to put its love for peace and tolerance into singing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Being an Emeritus Musical Group and School, “Filles et Fils du Ziriab” <\/span>will perform a concert during the festival that will appeal to all lovers of the traditional Moroccan repertoire.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Filles et Fils du Ziriab”, best kno<\/span>wn for its refined style and mastery of the Andalusian repertoire, will animate a night where peace will be in the spotlight, thereby contributing to creating harmony among peoples through music.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Mohamed DEKKAK<\/a>, honorary president of the Moroccan Association of Ibn Battuta, insists that the participation of the musical group <\/span>“Filles et Fils du Ziriab” <\/span>will add a classical touch to the varied programme that the festival has to offer, and will help a large number of people to discover our heritage, and reconcile the new generations with our cultural treasures.<\/span><\/p>\n
