If you are part of the Open Data Community, you will be delighted to know that the number of freely available core datasets on DataHub has doubled to 122, thanks to a partnership between John Snow Labs and Open Knowledge International – \u201ca global non-profit organization focused on realizing open data\u2019s value to society by helping civil society groups access and use data to take action on social problems\u201d.\n<\/div>\n

If you are part of the Open Data<\/strong> Community<\/strong>, you will be delighted to know that the number of freely available core datasets on DataHub has doubled to 122<\/strong>, thanks to a partnership between John Snow Labs<\/a> and Open Knowledge International<\/a> – “a global non-profit organization focused on realizing open data’s value to society by helping civil society groups access and use data to take action on social problems”. This vision is strongly in line with John Snow Labs’ mission to provide access to fresh and clean data – now not only to data scientists, but to everyone who has a need and meaningful use for it.<\/p>\n

It’s a big day for the open data community because all these 122 core datasets have gone through three levels of quality reviews<\/strong> (2 manual ones by domain experts, 1 automated set of 50+ checks on the data and metadata), and there is now a team of experts<\/a>, who is committed to keeping them up to date for free.<\/p>\n

Data content<\/a> covers economy, geography, climate, Internet, health and pharma with 58 core datasets, 21 community datasets and 43 newly donated ones.
