Piscataway, NJ – March 1st, 2017 –<\/strong> This coming Sunday, March 5th, Muslims for Peace, a New Jersey-based non-profit organization, will be hosting its 10th Annual Prophet Muhammad Day at Rutgers University in Piscataway.<\/p>\n

The event draws a diverse crowd focused on bringing communities together to celebrate one of the most influential personalities in history and his legacy of compassion, mercy, and justice.<\/p>\n

This year’s speakers include Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard<\/strong> (D-HI), Al Jazeera journalist Mehdi Hasan<\/strong>, Imam Mustafa El-Amin<\/strong>, and Rabbi Mark Kline<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The theme of the event “Take Action: United We Stand” is a call for all people of conscience to stand together against anti-Muslim rhetoric and policies. It affords a space for people to hear insights from notable individuals, build relationships with diverse communities, and commit to a united response against hate in all forms.<\/p>\n
