Zollar Inc. based in Sayville, New York has recently initiated a fund-raising campaign to launch its new app that will allow users to sell short videos for $1.
Now anyone with a Smartphone can make a quick buck with their own videos, according to J. Burak Kebapci, Chief Information/Technology Officer of Zollar Inc., based in Sayville, NY.
“Usually we process videos in 48 hours (business days),” Kebapci said. “If we accept your video, you will get paid same day.”
Accepted videos will be sold to video portals and other networks. Zollar has amassed over 100 subscriptions to various TV networks, Video On Demand networks and other distribution platforms.
Kebapci, designer of the Zollar app, worked as a software developer for Procter & Gamble Co. and as a developer and project analyst for Exel. Also, he is a cofounder of PYCOW, Inc. in 2010.
Videos should be about one minute in length and the original property of those who submit it. Stolen videos will not be accepted.
“We have good experience in copyright protection systems.” Kebapci said. “Our copyright protection mechanism will check the videos and will start distribution.
Also, any sexually explicit content will cause the video to be rejected.
The Zollar app campaign offers different levels of contributions, each with perks; donors will be given shares in the company. These shares are distributed at a rate of $50 per share at each level: $50 – one share, $250 – five shares, $500 – ten shares, $2500 – fifty shares, $15000 – 300 shares, $50000 – one thousand shares.
“When the company’s value increases, your shares will increase also,” Kebapci said.
The founding members of the company will retain 50% of all shares. Smaller contributions are accepted.
“Social media users are making thousands of videos every single day,” Kebapci stated. “Most of them can’t make a penny from them.”
The “Zollar Team” predicts their company will make about $100 per year (on average) from each video. “When ZOLLAR reaches its 100,000 videos goal, anyone who received stock from ZOLLAR will be a partner of a million dollar company,” Kebapci said.
Also, as the company’s contributions grow, further upgrades will be implemented to expand.
When $50,000 is reached, an IOS will be made available. At $100,000, Zollar will launch its own Internet television. At $1,000,000 the company plans to create its own video platform.
To receive the app, users must read and agree to the terms and rules. More information is available at zollar.us.
