Winner of Digital Harbor Coding Challenge took home a whopping Rupees 50,000 reward – at the Top Coders Meetup Forum that was held last week, in Bengaluru

Digital Harbor Coding Challenge was a month long contest held in the month of Jan 2017 that witnessed around 1000 participants. The Coding Champion and the Top coders were chosen based on stringent evaluation parameters set forth by Digital Harbor.

Digital Harbor, a leader in Risk management and a trusted partner of leading health care organizations across the United States, hosted the Top Coders Meetup Forum on 10th of March 2017, in Bengaluru. This forum was in continuation to the month long coding challenge that the company conducted in the month of January 2017.

The Top coders meetup forum saw Premnath Velmurugan, the winner of the coding challenge, take home Rs. 50,000 worth of gift vouchers and lots of brand goodies. All the top coders and some of the participants, were also felicitated with gift vouchers and brand goodies.

Addressing the top coders, Mike Tingey, the Director of Architecture and Consulting at Digital Harbor, spoke about the difficulties faced by the enterprises world-over and in contrast how the consumers enjoyed the collaborative internet technologies in making informed decisions within minutes. The “Digital Harbor coding challenge” was launched in 6th Jan 2017 and ran till the end of the month, attracting participants from several cities. Digital Harbor hosted this contest using Techgig, an online community forum for the Information Technology enthusiasts. The contest saw hundreds of participants ranging from software engineers and leads to Technical specialists, competing to produce an enhanced solution. By the end of third week, the contest saw close to 1000 participants competing to win their deserving reward.

Digital Harbor Coding Challenge was a programming-focused coding contest designed to inspire the creative and dynamic generation of tech professionals. Digital Harbor also plans to host programming and solution focused Hackathons in Bengaluru, this year.
