About Brittney Saunders
Brittney Saunders, born and raised on Long Island, NY. She started singing at the age of 4 and writing and recording at the age of 8. At the age of 10 she began to play the drums and at 14, the keyboard in her home church.
She is a singer, songwriter, producer, lyricist and musician. Her first love is music. She sees herself as a conceptual writer.
Her inspirations are Music Soulchild, India Arie, Jill Scott, Mint Condition, Dru Hill and Jagged Edge to name a few. By pursuing music full time, her goal is to make good music and make a difference through her music.
She enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs. She also enjoys getting in a good game of basketball with her cousins. She is also known as the pyrotechnician of her family, due to her love of fireworks.
Her most important accomplishment to date, would be the release of her debut album, Long Over Due – Musiq Is My Life, in Sept. 2015. She has sold over 2500 copies to date. She was the drummer in the band formerly known as Dashi and The Lifeguards. In November of 2015 she performed at the Def Jam & Atlantic Records Major Label Showcase, were she came in 2nd place. In Jan 2016, she did a radio interview with Doghouse Radio to start the year off.
She is currently working on her sophomore album.
