Vigil Trilogy is an upcoming narrative trilogy of dark and gritty shorts focused on a woman and it is now raising funds on Kickstarter. Created by Uuldrik Boekweg, a Utah based American artist and screen writer, the trilogy focuses on a haunted woman who is on the run for murder. According to the creator, it is a thriller and a paranormal trilogy of provocative, dark and gritty short films.
“Vigil Trilogy is centered on a woman on the run for murder and her search for her birth mother.” Said Uuldrik Boekweg, while talking about the trilogy. According to the creator, the shoot will be completed in about a week or two in St. George and all the funds raised through this campaign would be used to cover the cost of cast/crew, composer dues, cost of securing sites, equipment rental and other production costs.
In addition, Uuldrik firmly believes in film and the power of storytelling that it invokes. The trilogy focuses on both good and bad in the humanity and the artist is hoping to raise maximum funds for its completion. Moreover, the 38 year old creator of this project carries more than 12 years of screenwriting experience and he has majored in Film and Media Arts at the University of Utah.
