VehicleHistory Announces Free VIN Check Service

VehicleHistory.com, a free website that helps to educate consumers before they purchase a used vehicle, has announced upgrades to their online search service, the company reported today.

“We have always been committed to making sure that consumers don’t get taken to the cleaners by unsavory used car sellers,” said Vanessa Hernandez, a VehicleHistory.com spokesperson. “With our expanded VIN check technology, we are able to help them more than ever.”

The company’s new offering allows customers to check VIN numbers filtered by car manufacturer and by state.

“One of the ongoing problems that most VIN check services fail to address is that the information provided by motor vehicle services varies state by state,” Hernandez said. “But we are able to tap into national resources, so that it doesn’t matter if some guy in New Jersey tried to clean a title by registering it in California.”

The company, an online resource for VIN information on used vehicles, announces that their VIN check service will be free to all customers, the company said.

“There are companies out there that try to charge customers for a VIN check,” said Hernandez. “But how are they any different than a crooked dealer trying to get someone to buy an old heap? No one wants to spend more than they need to on a used car. It would simply be immoral to charge our customers for a VIN check.”

While other companies may ask a user to provide the manufacturer or make or model of the car you are thinking about buying VehicleHistory.com does not.

“Let’s be honest,” Hernandez said, “someone who needs to know what kind of used car a person is looking to buy is just going to sell their name and address to ruffians and criminals. An honest VIN check service just provides the information a person needs to decide if they want to purchase the car or not. That’s what we provide.”
