Vehicle History To Allow Consumers To Download Owner\’s Manual For Kia Cars

““It’s something everyone should be able to access when they need it,” she said. “The more a driver knows about their vehicle, the easier it will be for them to keep it in good shape and on the road longer.””

Vehicle History, a company that helps people who buy and sell used cars, has launched a new service to allow consumers to download owner’s manuals for used Kia vehicles, they announced yesterday. The new Kia owner’s manual download service will be free of charge.

“We are constantly asking consumers what can help them before, during and after the used car buying process,” said Vanessa Hernandez, a spokeswoman for Vehicle History. “We found that a lot of people discovered after they bought their car that there was no owner’s manual. Since this is a very important document, we thought it would be a good service for us to provide to our customers.”

Vehicle History will eventually add owner’s manual downloads for other types of vehicles, she said.

“This is an ongoing process,” she said. “Today we are happy to announce that we are making owner’s manuals for Kia vehicles available. When we have a system in place allowing us to offer owner’s manuals for other vehicle manufacturers, we will announce that at that time.”

Owner’s manuals are important, she said, because they offer advice on basic vehicle repairs, explain what the various warning lights mean, and offer details on how to maintain the vehicle.

“It’s something everyone should be able to access when they need it,” she said. “The more a driver knows about their vehicle, the easier it will be for them to keep it in good shape and on the road longer.”

Vehicle History will not charge consumers money to download owner’s manuals for their Kia vehicles.

“This is the type of public service thing that we would never consider charging money for,” she said. “It’s simply a way to respond to the needs of consumers and become a good neighbor in the online business community.”
