“Under the Staircase” is a newly launched fresh beer brewing company which has started a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter with a goal of $15,000. The company is started by Nathan T and his wife who decided to leave their 9 to 5 jobs behind and open their own brewery. They first started brewing in Fort Wayne by making beer in a 3-gallon container which then turned into a 30-gallon operation. Later on, they also introduced variations such as Kolsch, Porter, Stout and others before finally establishing their own brewery in Indiana.
They have started the brewery keeping in mind both craft beer lovers and the commercial beer lovers. With unique brewing techniques, they have strived to balance the sometimes overpowering taste of the craft beer and the watered down character of the commercial beer. The beer developed by “Under the staircase” is promised to provide unique taste and character. The company also specializes in custom brewing for parties, family reunions and weddings. They create a beer which is custom produced, labeled and named for the special event. This idea has already gained quite a popularity among the owner’s friends and co-workers and now available for others to avail as well.
The husband and wife duo uses their 10 years of experience in handcrafting ales using the traditional brewing techniques which result in fresh and tasty beer. They do not use any carbonation and use all natural ingredients for the beer production. The idea of custom beer is especially promoted by the brewing company as it would make a unique and exciting gift for anyone on their wedding, reunion, and another special event. This is one personalized gift which can’t be purchased anywhere else. A waterproof label is also designed and produced representing the particular event.
The custom brewing can be done for weddings, graduation parties, father’s and mother’s day gifts and other occasions. The success of the campaign will ensure the “Under the Staircase” brewery goes fully functional including the partnerships with restaurants and bars. There will also be a plan for home delivery service and an organic menu. The amount raised will also support the duo in securing the rental building and get a full license to serve the state of Indiana with their fresh brews.
The backers can also earn several rewards including a mention in the brewery’s wall of fame, beer mugs, t-shirts and glass growler among others.
