Turbine Technologies of the Future

Since the introduction of renewable energy sources, people have been discussing and testing sustainable energy methods for many years. The problem is that many people feel that we would never run out of fossil fuels, thus the lack of concern for eco-friendly technologies.

This made the development of renewable energy sources take a back seat to other concerns. Things have now changed, the world now has to grasp the concept that we have reached our peak oil production and will soon see the end of fossil fuels. This has put the search for viable renewable energy sources in the forefront, and home turbines are one of the main items on the list of energy sources.

As consumers turn towards renewable energy sources, turbines have begun to take interest amongst homeowners. One company under the name Vortical Tech LLC, makes use of innovative turbine technology, creating the Vortical Tech turbine; the first of it’s kind.

This particular turbine is able to produce 120 watts of electricity from household tap water. Other turbines in the market, pale in comparison to the Vortical Tech turbine as most commercial turbines can only generate one-tenth the output.

The hybrid Tesla turbine converts kinetic energy produced by the flow of water into electricity. This technology enables homeowners to generate electricity every time they wash dishes, take showers, do laundry, wash cars, water the lawn, and flush.

Alternative energy is a growing market in today’s society. Home renewable energy systems have taken the market by storm, as families look for eco-friendly, and affordable ways to produce their own electricity. Solar panels have become a popular renewable energy source around the world, using photovoltaic and silicon solar cells to generate power through radiation conversion.

Although producing less power than a typical solar panel, Vortical Tech turbines produce electricity when usage is greatest – in the morning and at night – instead of only when the sun shines brightest. When paired with photovoltaic and battery storage systems, the Vortical Tech turbine can produce, store energy, and contribute to utility grid load balancing.

Through the next few decades, we will see a great energy transformation throughout the world. By the end of the century, we will shift from fossil fuel dependency to relying primarily on renewable sources such as turbines. As new turbine technologies emerge, we will see great innovations in the eco-friendly technologies market.
