USA – Tower to Reading, a reading program tailored to the needs of novice and struggling readers, is asking for the public’s support in order to raise funds for its products’ packaging. Seeing as Tower to Reading is already at the printing stage, and that all program materials are in the process of being copyrighted, the crowdfunding campaign, which is set to commence on September 13th, 2017, on Kickstarter.com, will help accelerate the program’s release.
Ms. Shantoria Edwards, creator of Tower to Reading, boasts impressive credentials, having devoted her lengthy studies to education and childhood development. She has received a B.S. in Human Development Family Studies from Penn State University, and a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Towson University, while she has applied her academic knowledge into developing Tower to Reading, ensuring that it is both a simple and yet profoundly effective literacy program.
Based on a visual of a nine-story tower, each Tower to Reading set will consist of nine books – a combination of workbooks and reading books – and a set of flashcards. Each set corresponds to one of the Tower’s “floors”, and climbing through each set, young readers increase their reading abilities, working on “sight words, CVC, word families, blends, vowels, prefix, suffix, contractions”, and so much more. Tower to Reading pledges that children will be able to read “from the first floor alone”, while, by the end of the program, it is expected that their reading abilities will have improved significantly.
Speaking of Tower to Reading, Ms. Edwards said that “Tower to Reading was created to assist beginning and struggling readers with learning to read. This program was broken into simplest form for the child to better understand and grasp the concepts of each step within reading. Considerable time and effort was invested in this program to ensure that every child begins to read from the first floor alone!”
Those interested in backing the campaign can do so beginning September 13th, 2017, by visiting Tower to Reading’s Kickstarter page and making their contribution. The project is set to conclude on October 13th, 2017, while, throughout its run, Tower to Reading will be available for pre-order through its dedicated crowdfunding campaign page.
Tower to Reading is scheduled for official release on December 1st, 2017.
