Wordsnake is a newly launched mobile game on Apple Store that may be the next favorite game of all the word game lovers. The app now available for iOS users to download is being called ‘the most challenging word game ever’. This game gives a modern twist to classic word games and ensures that the users are hooked to it for a long. The user can play it with single or multiple opponents and compete to rank high on the leaderboard.
There is one major rule to follow while playing Wordsnake; the bigger the word you make, the more points you get. However, it is not as easy as it sounds because the catch here is that the last letter of the word formed by the opponent will be your first letter to form the next word. If the player manages to make a ten-letter word, they immediately win the game and with a Snakebite! Forming the letter with the last letter of opponent’s word might make this game a little more difficult, but also challenging and addictive for the user. They’ll need a lot more brainstorming to find the most suitable and long word to beat their opponent.
Each letter is assigned a particular value, for instance E has one point, ‘W’ has five points and if the player makes a six-letter word, they get double the word value and for a seven-letter word, they get triple the value and so on, until they make a ten-letter word and get the Snakebite to win. The player also has the option to play against multiple opponents if they’re in a mood to play a more challenging game. The ultimate goal is to be on the top of the leaderboard aka the Hall of fame.
Wordsnake is a great mobile game to test and enhance the vocabulary. The player can challenge a random opponent or one of their friends to play. The more games they win, the higher will be their ranking in the Hall of Fame. This game is suitable for all ages and it features no annoying registrations or complicated rules. Apart from English, the game is also available in the Dutch language. It requires iOS 10.3 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
