The Uni-Giraffe, a children’s book by Amanda Preston-Paroski, attracts positive reviews

The Uni-Giraffe by Amanda Preston-Paroski has enjoyed positive reviews since its release last year.

One 5-star Amazon review raves: “The Uni-Giraffe is sweet, well written, well illustrated. Being different doesn’t mean you can’t do anything, you can overcome and do anything you put your mind to it in life. You work together… Keep up the good work.”

From the back cover: Uriah is a very unique beast, one that no one has ever heard of before. All alone on an island, or so he thought, he sets out to see what he can fi nd. Uriah soon comes to discover that there are others out there who are very different but nonetheless just as unique as he is. Through some incidents that happen along the way, they all find a place where they belong.

The Uni-Giraffe is available at Amazon.com, Barnesandnoble.com and other fine retailers worldwide. Wholesale orders can be placed via Ingram or Baker & Taylor.

About the author:

Amanda Preston-Paroski is a freelance children’s book author who loves to see her writing come to life on the pages. Her love for reading and writing stemmed from a very young age. When she was three-years old Amanda wanted a set of encyclopedias and her parents told her that they would buy them for her if she learned to read, well as stubborn as Amanda was, it wasn’t long until she was the proud owner of those very encyclopedias. Amanda would sit in her room and spend hours reading and studying those amazing books. Amanda has always taken pride in her schooling and has a master’s degree in Psychology from Letourneau University, where she graduated Summa Cum laude with a 3.95 GPA. Despite her many irons in the fire, Amanda is first and foremost the wife to a wonderful husband Robert, and a very blessed stay at home mom to seven rowdy, amazing children. It is her circus and yes, those are her monkeys. Some of her hobbies include being what most describe as a “crunchy” mom (baby-wearing, cloth diapering, breastfeeding advocating), reading, being a partner to her husband, and chauffeuring her pack around. From romance novels to the classics, Amanda also loves to ready anything she can get her hands on. She currently resides in a small town in East Texas with her husband and their children.
