The Toking DEAD is an all new comic series about marijuana, zombies, adventure and much more. Created by Benjamin Bartlett and Jeffrey Homan, the comic series took years in the making and it is now close to its completion. The 24 page comic series is currently being crowdfunded on Kickstarter and the two American creators of this project are welcoming comic fans from around the world to make generous contributions.
“The Toking DEAD is based on two friends who open a dispensary after the legalization of medicinal marijuana was approved.” Said Jeffrey Homan, while introducing the project on Kickstarter. The project is already nearing its completion as the storyline is already written and the artwork is currently in progress. According to the creators, the scheduled date for the release is set to be February 1st, 2018 and they are relying on all the support they can get on Kickstarter.
From saving the world to the catastrophic discoveries made by the two main characters as they test marijuana on the zombies, the series is full of action, thrill and adventure. Moreover, 30 percent of the funding raised by this project will go towards art work, while 40 percent will be used for printing the first edition of 2000 copies. The remaining 30 percent will be used in marketing and rewards that are being offered to the supporters of this project via Kickstarter.
