The Star of Joy is a children’s storybook created by Galya Sidelsky. The story is narrated by a character named Princess Love (who doesn’t love a princess with that name), who tells the reader a story about a pair of children who go on a magical journey.
The children, Ron and Robin, meet a colorful horse named Be-Happy who comes from The Star of Joy. They all travel together to the star and go on quite the journey. In the end though, they find themselves at home and go to school to tell everyone all about the star and the wonderful life that’s lived there.

They go to the star on the back of a colorful horse named Be-Happy, who wants to show the kids this magical place where friendship, gift giving, and many other fantastic wonders await. Although this is a children’s story, there are clear messages in the book that will help both you and your little one be inspired by the parts of life that make it worth living.

This book was written from an incredible perspective. The author is a very positive person and wants to share that positivity with your child. She’s providing her perspective on life, which I think is nothing short of inspiring. See, if she’s able to see the world so positively and she can pass that on to just a few children, Galya has made a difference in our world.
Speaking of Galya, it’s important for you to understand where she’s come from. It’s easy for me to tell you that she’s inspiring, but as I’ve learned more about her, I’ve found myself believing in her book’s messaging even more. To that end, here’s a little about Galya…
She’s spent nearly 25 years in the arts. She’s a writer, and a musician (and an educator to boot). She’s also discovered a form of peace through meditation and guided imagery. She’s a person who is in touch with herself, her soul, and her feelings and emotions. Which brings me all the way back to how she’s written this book. She’s written it in this fantastically positive manner simply because…she is that positive. It’s amazing to see.
