Elgin, IL – Sometimes, even ghosts and evil spirits mean business. From September onwards, some of their meanest forms will be seen together at the old Elgin Casket Factory premises, which is now the one-of-its-scariest-kind Evil Intentions Haunted House. The new 2017 season is called ‘The Ritual’. The dates for the same are now out, and so are the resident spirits.
“This year’s ‘Ritual’ theme is dark. We went back to our roots of just being disturbing and demonic. People will bless themselves before and after visiting our haunted house,” says Brockton Pomykala, Evil Intentions Haunted House.
There are haunted houses, and there is one which has actually been converted back to what it was, a haunted house. The multi-level 55,000 square foot paranormal hot spot is located at the Old Elgin Casket Factory, which has reportedly been the scene of murder, grisly discoveries, cult activities, and unexplained occurrences. And some visitors still report of encounters with its former residents, roaming in the decayed hallways and abandoned factory floors.
“We have been one of the top haunted houses in Illinois for over 8 years now. Our location, the old Elgin Casket Company, is a well known haunted building. We are proud to be the ONLY haunted house in Illinois located in an actual haunted building,” says Brockton Pomykala.
Those who long for a closer encounter can ask for a night out in the premises, and use clues and solve puzzles to find their way out of the building by sunrise. Also available are ghost tours, where visitors can take up the role of lead investigators and get to use ghost hunting technology to make actual investigations.
Once the ‘Ritual’ begins, will death be their only escape? The answers will tumble out on the dates below.
