12 Jul, 2017 – Washington, D.C. – Real Talk is a short documentary directed by Sufian Abulohom and Bruna Weichert, that gives you a glimpse of the lives of thirteen American University students and defining moments of their lives. This short documentary is an emotional rollercoaster of stories from a diverse group of students that come from different backgrounds.

The project is mainly centered on the students, as each of them was willing to be vulnerable to the rest of the world. Being interviewed, each share their stories as they stare directly into the camera and open up to the viewer. The documentary tackles a lot of important issues such as race, gender, adoption, mental illness, cancer, etc…

A recent graduate from American University School of Communication, Sufian Abulohom is a director that makes documentaries and music videos. He co-directed “Real Talk” with one of his best friends [American University Graduate], Bruna Weichert.
