The app displays a list of bars in the surrounding area with priority to those with events, posts or specials. The user can filter according to their requirements by bar type or amenity while they can also see a detailed profile of the venue.
At present, the app is providing its services in Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Hoboken, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York City, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Barbara, Seattle, Tampa, and Washington DC while the developers are committed to add several new cities every week across the USA.
The app features a ‘Buzz up’ option where the users can click if they like that particular bar. This will reset that bar’s position in the search list by giving it a priority. Using the ‘Favorites’ option the users can also save a list of their favorite bars for easy accessibility. The map option allows the user to view bars in their area on a local map and lets them find directions for the place.The users can connect the app through social media such as Facebook or twitter to share bards with their friends.
The bar owners or managers can post updates through the app mentioning the latest events, offers and other information once they have claimed their bar on the app’s website. A bar can be added using the desktop version of the site which is barzz.net and adding the basic information such as location, pictures, menus, entry charges and others. This information will be displayed on the Bar’s profile in the app.
To make their bar view top in the list, the bars can constantly post updates, event information as the bars with the most ‘Buzz’ are given priority in the list. The app has received good reviews from the users so far and available for download at Google Play and iTunes.
